Improve Communication &
Public Speaking - at Toastmasters you will
"learn by doing" in a friendly,
relaxing atmosphere. Toastmasters is made up of
individuals who are just like you. They are there
for the same purpose - to improve their skills.
You will learn to be a better public speaker,
more relaxed, you will learn speech planning
skills - whether its a speech that took 10 days
to prepare or less then 10 seconds. Toastmasters
follow a program that starts new members speaking
at a pace comfortable to each individual. Program
speeches build skill upon skill until you have a
full, well rounded base of skills as your
foundation.

Improve Leadership Skills -
it takes practise to be a good leader. In
Toastmasters you build leadership skills by
organizing and conducting meetings and motivating
others to participate. As well you can build your
leadership skills by working on a project related
to you work or personal life or by serving as a
leader in Toastmasters. |
