Division J - History Page

"J" is for Jones

It was the late 1990s.  Calgary was growing and Division C was bursting at the seams with Toastmasters clubs.   Dorothy Jones was being recruited to be Division Governor…Division C Governor that is.  t made sense.  A capable Toastmaster to lead this sprawling Division.  But not for Dorothy.  She would lead alright, but she wanted to split Division C into 2 Divisions and she, along with her capable assistant Bev Swan, would start a new history, in a new division, with a new name.  That is how Division J started.
