January


Second round of Area Governor Club Visits begin.

Clubs with officers elected every six months must submit officer lists.

Division and Area Governors planning sessions for the purpose of reviewing Area and Division Performance Plans.

Start recruiting replacements.

January 24 - Toastmaster Leadership Institute training session at Shell.

January 31 - President of the Year forms to be submitted to Division Governor by today.


February


February 7 - District mid-winter training in Edmonton.

February 15 - Division Governors to submit President of the Year nomination to Past District Governor Jacquie Schnider.

February 28 - Training of Club Officers must be complete and submitted to LGET (Mavis Oberding)


March


March 15 - Clubs complete contests.

March 27 - Areas complete contests and hold council meetings.

March 31 - Area Governor Visits completed and forms submitted to Division and District Governor (on the form it says must be mailed to District Governor by April 30).

Semi-annuals in mail to WHQ by this date.

Area Governors confirm that semis are sent in and report to Division Governor.

Clubs to expect proxies in mail from WHQ (for voting at Spring Convention April 23 - 25 in Calgary at the Glenmore Inn and Region Conference June 4-5 in Des Moines, Iowa at the Renaissance Savery Hotel). If not attending proxies to be signed and forwarded to District Governor Barry Matthews.

Nominations for Area and Division Governors submitted to Past District Governor.


April


April 3 - Division G Internatianal Speech and Evaluation contest to be held in Calgary.

April 10 - Divisions complete contests and hold Division council meetings.

April 23 - 25 - District 42 Spring Convention to be held in Calgary at the Glenmore Inn

District Council and Executive meetings.


May


WHQ mails out new club officer kits to club president of record.

Election of new club officers.

Club officer lists mailed to WHQ and District Governor.

Area Govenors promote May/June training dates.

May 15 - Semi-deadline for credit in the distinguished area and division program.

May 31 - Clubs submit "Of the Year" nominations to Area Governors

Rookie of the Year

Toastmaster of the Year

Newsletter of the Year

May 31 - clubs to mail proxies for Regional and International to the District Governor.


June


Club officer training begins.

Report of Club Officer Training into LGET within 1 week of training.

Current Area Governors install officers if asked.

June 15 - Area Governors submit "Of the Year" nominations to the Division Governor.

June 30 - Clubs/Area/Divisions ensure that all CTM, ATM, CL, AL, new member forms, etc. are in to WHQ by 5:00 EDT.

Division Governors submit nominations for "Of the Year" awards to District Governor.
